Fully automatic filling of medium-viscosity to paste-like products (e.g. silicone, acrylic, PU sealants, adhesives, greases) into various types of cartridges (plastic, aluminium and composite cartridges). If no separate dosing machine is connected upstream, a suitable dosing unit is integrated directly into the machine to fill the cartridges with precision. After filling, the product thread is cleanly severed, followed by sealing by a piston (or cap in the case of grease cartridges).
Numerous options include, for example, checking piston depth and weight, rejecting defective cartridges, flaring cartridges before insertion, crimping aluminium caps onto aluminium cartridges, printing and labelling, and further special functions available on request.
CF-100 Cartridge Filling and Sealing Machine
Depending on the product, up to 100 cartridges per minute can be filled without introducing air or contamination. The two filling stations are fed either by one (in the Splitstream variant) or two external dosing machines, or by two integrated dosing units. The machine’s high filling accuracy can then be validated and corrected using a load cell. Optionally, successfully sealed cartridges can be printed on or labelled.
